IMAF 2014 – Web Series Panel

I had the pleasure of moderating a panel discussion about web series at IMAF 2014 – The Island Media Arts Festival – on October 24th. Our panel members were Harmony Wagner, Neil Wiley, Walter Forsyth and Adam Perry – and you can find out more about them at the IMAF web site: http://www.imaf.ca/industry-panels/

The discussion was very informative and could have gone on for hours further since we had barely begun to touch on many of the larger issues that affect the creation of web series. It’s the kind of conversation that continues on, and rightly so, as we all navigate our way through these uncharted waters.

The community of creators out East, and especially on Prince Edward Island, is a remarkable group of extraordinarily talented people who are crafting outstanding narratives for the web and the larger screens. The folks running the festival, Cheryl Wagner, RenĂ©e Laprise and Louise Lalond were very kind and very generous and I was privileged to spend time with everyone there – so many thanks to them.

Here’s the video of our panel. You can catch recorded streams of the other panels there too.
